Fields of Mistria is a '90s-inspired farming sim from NPC Studio, in Early Access from August 2024 and out as a 1.0 on Steam on August 5, 2026. You inherit a farm outside the town of Mistria, which is still rebuilding after an earthquake. There are dragons and magic under the cozy surface, a mine that goes down into ruins, and 12 villagers you can romance. Prices are in Tesserae.

Essence is the thread through Mistria. Monsters drop it, Water Sprite Statues water your crops for it, and the perk shrines sell skill perks for it, so a mine trip pays for the farm and the farm pays for the mine. The perks matter more than they look. Reclaimer puts furniture in mine chests, and other perks gate whole fish, recipes and artifact sets. Money comes from the opposite direction. Peas, Tea, Onion and Snow Peas regrow often enough to out-earn every other crop, and Hayden's Milk and Eggs sell better the more hearts the animal has with you. Cooking turns that produce into the stamina food you carry into the mines. Fish and bugs are the museum's other half. Errol pays renown and furniture for finished sets, and spare bugs go on into the Terrarium and the Apiary. Ore, gems and monster parts feed the anvil and the Stone Refinery, which is where tool upgrades come from. Gifts tie the rest together: every villager loves 10 specific items, and most of them are things you already grow, catch or dig up.

Loved gifts and birthdays for every villager, and which 12 you can date and marry.

Season profit for all 54 seeds, growth and regrow days, plus where every forageable turns up.

143 catches sorted by water, season and weather, the Fish Wing sets and the four legendaries.

93 bugs sorted by season, time of day and weather, the Insect Wing sets and the pheromones that lure the rare ones.
